Create Campaign

Step 1 of 8: Campaign Title and Type

Create a title for your campaign:

Title:

This should be a memorable title so you can refer to the campaign on your 'Account > Campaigns' page. No-one else sees this information.

Select the format of campaign:

CPC billed, text-based campaign (comparable to conventional 'search' advertising)
CPM billed, 'display' based campaign (pre-roll positioned video creative)

Step 2 of 8: Target customers by location

Step 3 of 8: Target customers by website

Choose the websites or channels you want your ads to run on.

Websites & Channels:

Your ads will only run on selected websites. We cannot guarantee that they will definitely run on ALL websites selected.

Hold down CTRL to select mulitple websites.

N.B. Not all websites are listed here or allow specific-site targeting.

Step 4 of 8: Choose Keywords

Your ad will appear when the in-video hostspot has specifc keywords applied to it that match yours. Keywords should be directly relevant to the content at the click-through destination URL you will be using.

Note:
Ads are displayed based on their relevance to the user. This takes into account how closely the ad matches content within a clickable video hotspot.

Note:
Keyword matches trump a higher price per click, so the more specific your keywords are, the lower the price per click you'll pay.

Step 4 of 8: Select creative

Either: Select and upload video file from your hard drive
N.B. Your video should not exceed 15-20 seconds in length for maximum effectiveness

Upload file (we support most video formats)

Or: Add static images (photos) and separate audio (not mandatory) and we will create a 'video' ad for you from these assets.
N.B. There is a one-off fee of $25 for this service which will be deducted from your account balance

Upload audio file (we support most audio formats)

Select up to four static images. They will display for a maximum of 20 seconds in total, the total time being divided by the number of static images uploaded.

Step 5 of 8: Destination

The click-through destination URL for your ad. Triggered when a user clicks on an in-video hotspot that is relevant to this ad campaign.

Add the text for your ad:

	Title: (up to 25 characters)
	Description line 1: (up to 40 characters)
	Description line 2: (up to 40 charactiers)

You can also add a photo or video (a thumbnail will be displayed) to your text ad. If you want to do so, please attach it here.

This daily budget controls your cost. When the daily limit is reached your ad will stop showing for that day. You can adjust this setting at any time.

Every time an in-video hotspot appears, the ads that will be shown are chosen on a dynamic basis.

The higher you set 'maximum cost per click', the more likely your ad will be shown. You can change this figure whenever you choose.

(This figure is called a CPM, or 'Cost per thousand'.)

All clicks from your ad are included in the CPM price. Sites set different minimum pricing levels, so the higher the price you set the more of your preferred sites the ad will appear on. This will be in a 'pre-roll' position unless otherwise indicated.
